Практична мета: активізувати та закріпити лексику по темі, формування лексичних навичок говоріння. Практикувати учнів в аудіюванні розвитку слуху з метою здобування загальної та детальної інформації.
Освітня мета: поглибити знання учнів про важливість вивчення англійської мови.
Розвивальна мета: розвивати комунікативні уміння, вміння творчо підходити до вирішення завдань, розвивати мовну здогадку та пізнавальні інтереси.
Виховна мета: виховувати в учнів почуття мови, зосередженість в нових мовленнєвих умовах. Спонукати учнів вивчати англійську мову.
Тип уроку: урок систематизації засвоєного матеріалу, контролю мовленнєвих навичок та вмінь. Урок узагальнення.
Обладнання: мультимедійна презентація, картки, роздатковий матеріал.

T: The topic of our lesson is:
We are going to talk about reasons for learning English.
So I can say that the role of English in the modern world is great. It’s important and popular to know English. Some people learn the English language because they need it for their work; others travel abroad, for third studying English is a hobby. Everyone, who knows English can speak to people from other countries, read foreign authors in the original, which makes your outlook wider. The English language helps people to work together. It is the language of international communication, culture and friendship. Today we are going have some tasks in reading and listening comprehension, speak about professions dealing with English, and get some new information. So, we’ll speak about English. The motto of our today’s lesson is “English is the key which opens the door to the world”.

2. T: The Bridge is a symbol of studying English.LondonBridge is two thousand years old. The first bridge was of wood. Then people built the bridge of stone and called itLondonBridge. There were houses and shops on it and people paid money when they crossed the bridge. In1831 a new bridge rose on the place of the first bridge. In 1973 theNew LondonBridge was opened on the place of the old bridge over theThames.
